2013 Miracle Yearbook

Res Life at Cedarville has been one of the most transforming parts of my Cedarville experience. The guys I have lived with were myfriends, but when we leave this place they will be my broth- ers. As an RA it has been incredible to see how God is working in Res Life to move us all towards good works and righteousness in Him." —Jake Miller Junior Lawlor Resident Assistant MEN'S RESIDENCE LIFE With over 1,500 male students on campus, Cedarville is a great place for guys to build Christ-centered rela- tionships with one another. Each dorm hosted different events throughout the year. After only a few weeks into school, residents of Lawlor started off the year with Lawlorpalooza. Each unit dressed up in costumes and competed against one another in a number of games in the parking lot. Lawlorpalooza was a great bonding experience for new and returning students. Residents in Rickard Hall participated in a similar event later in the year called Man Week. This week consisted of challenges and community-building activities. Resi- dents learned what it really meant to be a follower of Jesus through the various challenges throughout the week. Even when there weren't any events happen- ing, guys still found ways to get to know one another. Video games, guitars, and longboards were often seen scattered throughout the halls and units. Whatever the event, residents learned to pursue righteousness and godliness in their daily lives. 1. The men of Marshall 2shave their heads fo the annual Lawlor/Hill flag football game. 2.
