2013 Miracle Yearbook

From sand volleyball to table tennis, Cedarville offered a wide variety of over 40 intramural sports that students could participate in each semester. Students formed or joined teams to compete against other students on campus, creating teams of all men, all women, or a combination of both. Each team met weekly to practice and strategize for their upcoming games, which pro- vided a great way for students who were not on official university teams to participate in a sport of their choice. Varisity and JV team members could also compete in intramurals, but only a limited number were allowed to play on each team. Teams divided into three dif- ferent leagues based on athletic ability. At the end of the semester, the top teams competed against each other in order to become the overall champions of each sport. The champions not only won bragging rights, but they also won t-shirts commemorating their victory. Teams learned that although the athletic ability of each person may differ, everyone can still work together to win games and build lasting friendships. I really liked intramurals because I met3 lot of cool people, and I got my exercise credit for PACL, but mostly because I got to play the sports that I love." —Olivia Zehr Freshman Student 1.
