2013 Miracle Yearbook
WINTER EVENTS The winter semester is a time of growth and renewal for students. The semester began with the Winter Blast event featuring the band Gungor, run by the Student Center Activity Board (SCAB), and was soon followed by the Dream Event. In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the Dream Event featured a number of artistic stu- dents who performed spoken word, songs, and read- ings. As January came to a close, seniors were invited to attend the 100Days Party, where they acknowledged the rapidly approaching arrival of graduation. Not long into February, the campus was flooded with little sib- lings. Students and their younger siblings attended a few on-campus events, including the movie Wreck- it Ralph and a basketball game. Although there were many fun events throughout the semester, there were also events that brought change. In early February, Dr. Carl Ruby stepped down as Vice President for Student Life. This was a sad time for the Cedarville community, but everyone continued to remember to keep their eyes focused on Christ despite the situation. Thes of th event ;IP Gungor impressed me in concert because of their genuine musicianshiP and Christ-centered art. Their riveting live show was small in scale but large in talent, stunning Cedarville students with a memorable live performance." —Roger Gelwicks Junior Student 1.
