2013 Miracle Yearbook
God has really shown me what true fel- lowship with other believers looks like this semester. Were in this community to be accountable and to love our brothers and sisters in Christ." —Jordan Luce Sophomore Student FALL EVENTS The end of summer isn't usually something the aver- age person looks forward to. For Cedarville students, that is entirely untrue. The end of summer means the beginning of fall semester and the chance to recon- nect with friends. This fall, students enjoyed numerous events hosted by SCAB,attending ALT nights to watch movies like The Hunger Gamesand The Amazing Spi- derman. Likewise, the New Student Talent Show gave students a chance to get to know each other and show off their skills. Although the fall semester offered many activities for students to participate in, it also gave them a chance to serve within the community. The Involve- ment Fair helped students find a way to get connected in ministries and orgs on campus. Many students also helped out with the annual Junior Jam event, giving up their time to hang out with young kids and showing them what Christianity is really about. 1. Eric Shomo talks with his small group at Junior Jam. 2. Becca Mattison shows her love for Doctor Who by dressing up as a weeping angel for costume night in Chuck's. 3.Students attend the annual Involvement Fair outside of the SSC. 4.Chris Batts, Cassie Thacker, Cassie Hop- kins, and Brendan McGillick sit by the lake, enjoying the warm September weather. 5.John Filcik receives the baton from his teammate Abel Sutherland at the Active Water Rave Run.
