Dr. Brown is a man not easily forgotten, and his impact at Cedarville and in the lives of thousands of students will be felt for many years to come." —Zack Weston Senior Student FAREWELL,DR.BROWN When Cedarville students hear the name Dr. Brown, they can't help butsmile.Throughoutthe pastten years, Dr. Brown has been an essential part of the university. Not only has he inspired students with his integrity and commitment to the Lord, but he has freely given his time to help anyone in need. Dr. Brown's yearly chapel themes have encouraged and challenged students to form a biblical worldview. Dr. Brown has also helped establish new programs and facilities at Cedarville, including the newly built Health Sciences Center and Center for Biblical and Theological Studies. Dr. Brown has served as president since 2003. Although this was his last year as president, he and his wife will continue to serve at the university,and Dr. Brown plans to stay on as Chancellor for at least another year. Dr. Brown and his wife, Lynne, have been an encouragement to every- one at Cedarville University. He will be dearly missed by everyone. 66 66 One thing I really admire about Dr. Brown is that he knew our names! He interacts with so many people every- day, but he was still able to make every interaction I had with him personal.
