DEDICATION Dr. Clint Kohl was born on May 26th, 1966 in Jos, Nigeria Africa where his parents were lay missionaries. Kohl grew up in South Dakota with his four older sib- lings and his parents, Bob and Elaine Kohl. In 1988, he married his wife Susan. In that same year, Dr. Kohl received his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineer- ing at South Dakota State University. He went on to achieve his Master's in Electrical Engineering in 1990 and his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering in 1992. Profes- sor Kohl is the father of four children. He enjoys hiking with his family and exploring God's creation in national parks all across America. A few of his favorite activities include scuba diving with his wife, boating and water- skiing with family and friends, and coaching his sons' soccer teams. Dr. Kohl is very committed to serving at Shawnee Hills Baptist Church, where he not only co- leads adult Sunday school classes, but also serves as a deacon. Students appreciate the time he invests in their lives and the challenges he provides in class. Dr. Kohl has a unique ability to take the complex ideas associated with com- puter engineering and make it under- standable. He not only is able to apply the class material to everyday life, but his spiritual emphasis is also inspiring." —Malia Amling Senior Engineering Student 1. The whole Kohl family enjoys a beautiful trek through the mountains at Estes Park. 2. Clint Kohl and his wife Susan love hiking and experiencing nature together at Sequoia National Park. 3.The couple that scuba dives together stays together. 4.Clint Kohl values the time spent with his wife, children, and new daughter-in-law. 5.
