Mextaxas has also written for Veg- gieTales and a variety of children's books. He spoke about how a genuine heart for Christ motivates the counterculturel rejection of the things that do not glorify God. Al Yoder Al Yoder, a missionary with A.B.W.E. to the Amazon,has a ministry to local peoples through aviation, counseling, and discipleship. He came to Cedarville's chapel hour to proclaim God's providence and provision in difficult circum- stances. Yoder and his family have started eight churches through their ministry. Ron Blue Cedarville invited former missionary and presi- dent of CAM International Ron Blue to speak at this year's Missions Conference. He brought incredible enthusiasm as he encouraged stu- dents to think globally about the gospel. Blue has traveled to over fifty countries and served as pro- fessor and chair of the World Missions and Inter- cultural Studies department at Dallas Seminary. Christopher Yuan Speaking on the difficult subject of homosexual- ity, Christopher Yuan brought wisdom and grace to the Jeremiah Chapel. After telling his personal story of salvation, he reminded the student body that "the opposite of homosexuality is not hetero- sexuality, but holiness." Joel Penton Former Ohio State football star Joel Penton visit chapel in March and spoke about the Parable the Prodigal Son. He challenged students to s God as their father and act like they are pan His family. Penton is one of the nation's lead youth motivational speakers. He has spoken over 300,000 high school and college studer worldwide. Corwin and Kim Anthony Corwin and Kim Anthony came to Cedarville fc talk about their work with Athletes in Action. 11161 used their experience as accomplished athletl to minister to other top athletes for Christ.
