Will Horne, Senior Class Chaplain In September, Will Horne spoke on Luke 17:1-10. He talked about how faith can set believers free, noting that a lack of genuine faith in God is a stum- bling block. He emphasized that the amont of faith doesn't matter, but the authenticity of it does. In January, Horne spoke on Hebrews 12:18-29. He challenged students to live a life in the Kingdom characterized by power and awe of God Almighty. Casey Murphy, Sophomore Class Chaplain Casey Murphy spoke on contentment and holiness during the sophomore class chapels. He spoke on contentment during the first semester because of the relevance to his life. He wanted students to realize how often every- one complains about the simple things in life. During the second semester, Murphy spoke on holiness because he wanted to remind students how many people in this generation have neglected this important aspect of the Christian faith. T.J. Pancake, Junior Class Chaplain This year in chapel,T.J. Pancake lifted up the glory of what Christ did for sinners. hopes of stirring the affections of the students for Jesus. Pancake taug out of Hosea 2 during the first semester. He described the love that Chr showed by pursuing his people even while they rejected him. Darin the second semester, Pancake taught out of Ephesians 2. He explain how Jesus loved the outsiders and the lowly, and how Christians can show Chris love to others in the same way. Stephen Clark, Freshmen Class Chaplain Asfreshman class chaplain, Stephen Clark found it challenging to find sometill0 new for Cedarville students to hear that would also still apply to the fresfS class. However, Clark realized that the things he was learning as a new stadeill applied to everyone of the Christian faith: how to have joy in all circumstances ari the importance of loving God.
