cer,Hintn ACADEMICS "Love God, Love Others, Integrity in Conduct, Excel- lence in Effort." Starting this year, these four ideals were the new pillars that Cedarville University committed to as a functioning body of believers. Built right into these core values were two academic standards: integrity in conduct and excellence in effort. This was a com- mitment to honesty and academic integrity, as well as a resolution to pursue excellence in all academic endeavors. As a Christ-centered university, loving God comes first — our commitment to Him should be the primary focus of our lives. As a consequence of our love for God comes a love for others around us. Then, integrated into our most core values were these two standards in integrity and effort that defined us as a university body. Cedarville lives out its academic standards day to day through caring professors, chal- lenging classes and majors, and above all, a focus on honoring God through the pursuit of knowledge. I like how Cedarville is able to take anY class in any subject and point it back to Christ." —Aubrey Casazza Sophomore Student 1.
