Geology — Bachelor of Science

The

Bachelor of Science degree with a major in geology

prepares students for graduate studies or employment in a wide

variety of geological fields. Skills needed by modern geologists,

such as observation, interpretation, model analysis, critical

thinking, and field work, are emphasized throughout the program.

Opportunities for undergraduate research and publication are also

available and encouraged.
