Dr. John MacArthur exhorted the
Cedarville College family to godly
living during Winter Enrichment
Conference held January 17-19.
Heard over 600 times daily on the
syndicated radio broadcast"Grace to
You," Dr. MacArthur is pastor of
Grace Community Church in Sun
Valley, California and president of
The Master's College and Seminary
in Newhall. He has authored more
than 30 books and various Bible
study guides.
Every fall, the Campus Activities
Office sponsors an organizational fair
to give new students an opportunity
to learn more about the 45 student
organizations which encourage
campus involvement and community
service. In the fall of 1995, Alpha
Delta Omega(ADO)hosted a
"Splash Back to the 50's" booth,
complete with 50's music and decor.
This annual event provides a fun
format for all students to get involved
and kicks off student organization
membership recruitment each year.
We are looking for a few GOOD
DONATIONS!The committee for the
third annual Alumni Auction which
benefits the Alumni Scholarship Fund
is excited to announce the 1996
Alumni Auction to be held October 19
at 2:00 p.m.on the campus of
Cedarville College. Last year over 60
alumni and friends of Cedarville
College gave works of art (prints,
paintings, calligraphy), quilts,
needlework, professional sports team
collectibles, vacations, antiques, one-
of-a-kind hand-crafted items, and
Cedarville College memorabilia to be
auctioned.This effort raised over
$10,000 for the Alumni Scholarship
Fund! If you would like to make a
contribution to be auctioned or need
more information, please contact

Dr. Donald Callan '84H, athletic
director and chair of the Department
of Health and Physical Education at
Cedarville College, received a
Lifetime Achievement Award at the
eighth annual Ohio Professional and
Amateur Athlete of the Year Awards
Banquet in Dayton, Ohio on
February 12, 1996. Dr. Callan retired
last year as head basketball coach,a
position he held for 35 years.

Fouffee- n players returned to campus for the women's
game. Kim Gall'78 and Sandra Holwerda Schlappi'75
helped coach the teams.The white team triumphed by a
score of47-44.
The Alumni Association honors Don Callan '8414
and his wife, Nedra,for 35 years of service as head

Michael Minto'90 leaps high to score
two for the blue team!
Twenty-four men returned to campus
for the men's game,travelling from as
far as Michigan, New Jersey,and
Florida!The blue team proved
victorious in this game,beating the
white team by score of70-67.

Curry look forward to an exciting day offellowship and
basketball action.
During alumni basketball weekend,Cedarville College
honored the achievements ofAmy Zehr McIntosh '93
and Vicki Butler'80 by retiring theirjersey numbers.
This event marks the first time that the College has
retired a woman'sjersey number. Congratulations,Amy
and Vicki!
