Costs and Financial Aid Student Costs The University keeps the application fee, tuition, housing, food, and other fees as low as possible to be consistent with responsible operation. The revenue from students does not cover the total cost of operation. To apply, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) annually, listing Cedarville University's school code (003025). While institutional scholarships are not available for online programs, students are encouraged to seek external scholarships and grants. Drop/Add and Tuition Refund Schedule Students are responsible for verifying the accuracy of their course registration at the beginning of each term. Changes in a student's course schedule must be made through the drop/add process. During the 100% refund period, students may drop or add courses themselves through Student Planning. Once the 75% refund period begins, students must use the Drop/Add Request Form found in myCU which will include advisor and instructor approvals. The student is required to make up any work missed due to late entrance. Changes in a students' schedule caused by cancellation of courses will not result in financial penalty.
