HEALTH AND PHYSICAL EDUCATION 83 REQUIREMENTS FOR A MAJOR IN HEALTH AND PHYSICAL EDUCATION WITH A SECONDARY TEACHING FIELD. Forty-five quarter hours. Majors are required to spend two quarters as an assistant, in general physical educa– tion classes. Requirements other than general education include: 122 First Aid 3 123 Personal and Community Health 3 132 Introduction to Physical Education 3 212 Games and Rhythmics 3 213 Gymnastics and Tumbling 3 *291 or *293 Individual and Dual Sports 4 313 School Health Program 3 392 Kinesiology 3 393 Principles of Physical Education 3 460 Teaching Physical Education in the Secondary School 2 480 Organization and Administration of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation 4 SM216 Human Anatomy and Physiology 5 Any two courses from: 353, 371, 372, 373, 381 6 REQUIREMENTS FOR A MINOR IN HEALTH AND PHYSICAL EDUCATION WITH A SECONDARY TEACHING FIELD. Thirty-two quarter hours other than general education include: 122, 123, 132, 212, 213, 460, SM216, one of either 398 or 480 and three hours may be chosen from 291, 293, 313, 353, 363, 371, 372, 373, 381 or 392. REQUIREMENTS FOR A MINOR. Twenty-five quarter hours, including physical education 122, 132, 281, 283, 382, 383 and 393. (Primarily for Bible or Christian Education majors)
