SENIORS CELEBRATED AT GOLDEN JACKET AWARDS The Golden Jacket Awards recognized 60 graduating senior student-athletes during its sixth annual showcase at the DeVries Theatre. The celebration of the 2022–23 Yellow Jacket athletic season was written and produced by the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). Along with honoring every senior, four athletic department awards and six SAAC awards were presented during the show, which aired live on the G-MAC Digital Network. YELLOW JACKET CLUB ATHLETES OF THE YEAR Brooke Ackley ’24, Women’s Soccer Evan Leist ’24, Men’s Cross Country and Track & Field PETE AND JOYCE REESE AWARDS This award honors seniors who have used all four years of eligibility as a Yellow Jacket and were selected on the basis of athletic ability, Christian service, scholarship, Christian character, and leadership.
