More than 30 actors and 13 musicians brought to life Andrew Lloyd
Webber’s biblical saga of Joseph and his coat of many colors. In a local
review,
Dayton City Paper
wrote, “The confidence of the performances
and the completeness of the technical aspects reflect the strength of the
theatre faculty.”
The musical, directed by Rebecca Baker, was presented in February in
the DeVries Theatre. Audiences enjoyed the array of musical styles that
conveyed the timeless story of family and forgiveness. With seven sold-
out performances,
Joseph
was the University’s best-selling show to date.
