BASEBALL
The squad registered a 29-19 record last season with a 6-6 mark in the G-MAC. The
Yellow Jackets were the NCCAA Midwest Region Champions and participated in the
NCCAA National Tournament. The squad was also the G-MAC Tournament Runner-up.
Senior infielder Logan Kasabian was named to the NCAA Division II Midwest Region
Second Team. Junior pitchers David and Ryan Ledbetter were selected by the Texas
Rangers in Major League Baseball’s First-Year Player Draft in June 2013.
SOFTBALL
The Lady Jackets produced a 26-21 record last spring, finished third in the G-MAC, and
were runners-up in the G-MAC Tournament. Five members of the teamwere named
to the All-G-MAC Team and three were G-MAC Academic Team honorees. Sophomore
Rachel Bull set a new school record with 46 stolen bases in a single season. The 2013
campaign was the fourth consecutive 20-plus-win season for Cedarville. 
MEN’S TENNIS
Cedarville was 11-13 overall during the 2012–13 schedule and was honored as a
NCCAA Scholar-Team. Senior Aaron Niemiec was a Capital One Academic All-America
Division II Third Team selection. He was also an NCCAA All-America First Teamer and a
member of the College Sports Information Directors of America Academic All-District
Team. Niemiec and five Yellow Jacket teammates were NCCAA Scholar-Athletes.
WOMEN’S TENNIS
The Lady Jackets were 17-7 during the 2012–13 season and were G-MAC champions.
Junior Courtney Heydt was the G-MAC Player of the Year and a member of the G-MAC
Team. Cedarville was an NCCAA Scholar-Team as Joy Dice, Brooke Johnson, Emma
Rahn, and Melissa Stoltzfus were named NCCAA Scholar-Athletes. Five Lady Jackets
were recognized as members of the G-MAC Academic Team.
MEN’S TRACK & FIELD
The Yellow Jacket squad completed another successful indoor/outdoor campaign in
2013. The team placed fifth at both the NCCAA Indoor and Outdoor Championships.
Sophomore James Blackwell was an NCAA Division II Indoor Qualifier in
the heptathlon and an Outdoor Qualifier in the decathlon. Seniors Matt
Brooker (10,000 meters) and Greg Hannay (javelin) were also NCAA II
Outdoor Qualifiers. Nine Yellow Jackets were NCCAA Scholar-Athletes.
WOMEN’S TRACK & FIELD
The Cedarville team produced a ninth-place effort at the NCCAA Indoor
Championship and placed fifth at the Outdoor Championship in 2013. Senior
Hannah Brooker (5,000 meters), junior Anna Pomento (discus), and sophomore
Christina Gall (400-meter hurdles) earned NCCAA Outdoor All-America recognition.
Fifteen Lady Jackets were honored as NCCAA Scholar-Athletes.

GOLF
The Yellow Jackets finished second in the G-MAC last spring and were led by
sophomore Jacob Forsythe, the G-MAC Golfer of the Year. Forsythe was also named
to the PING NCAA Division II Midwest Region Team and participated in the NCAA
Super Regional Qualifier. He was joined on the All-G-MAC Team and the G-MAC
Academic Team by junior Jacob Nafziger and freshman Jordan Glick.
