FACULTY/STAFF

Organizations all across the country are now taking part in a day of giving

called #GivingTuesday, and Cedarville is no exception. For the one-day

event, faculty and staff members were challenged to increase our overall

giving participation to the University to reach 65 percent.

The national average for faculty and staff giving in higher education

institutions is 25 percent. Guess what our faculty and staff reached —

80 percent!

Thank you to the amazing faculty and staff who serve our campus daily.

They serve by educating our students, cleaning our facilities, creating

student initiatives, and keeping track of all of the details! Faculty and staff

gifts demonstrate that together we believe in Cedarville’s mission and that

we work together for the Word of God and the Testimony of Jesus Christ.

THE STORY OF THE CEDARVILLE SOCIETY

In 1978, in the early days of Paul Dixon’s presidency, the College

gathered a small group of donors together to share ideas for future

academic programs. Originally called President’s Associates, this

$1,000-and-up giving club met on campus each year at homecoming

and generously contributed their time, talent, and treasure.

They not only helped shape a vision for Cedarville, but they urged their

friends and professional contacts to partner with the College. Further, they

provided material support for the vision to take shape.

Cedarville’s stakeholders are still looking to the future and coming

alongside the University to turn dreams into reality. Today, the Cedarville

Society has grown to more than 200 members who annually invest more

than $450,000 to provide a distinctive education marked by excellence

and grounded in biblical truth.
