More than 400 golfers are again expected to play in the 20th igt Annual Cedarville College Open at three local golf courses on September 10 and 11, 1992. Jill graduated from Cedarville College with a degree in music education. She taught elementary and middle school music before coming back to Cedarville in 1989 as the applications secretary for the Admissions Office. Michael Law '88, her husband, is the vocal music director at Greeneview High School in Jamestown,Ohio. Council membersserve afour-year term. Angela Cooke'84 After graduating with a B.A.in communication arts, Angela served at Cedarville College as resident director ofFaith dormitory from 1986 to 1990. During that time she completed her master's degree in student personnel counseling and higher education at the University of Dayton.In 1990 Angela moved to Wenham,Massachusetts to take a position in resident life and career planning and placement at Gordon College.She is interested in starting work on a doctorate in higher education at Boston University and plans to move to Manchester in September. Angela enjoys aerobics,cooking,and traveling. Rev.Larry Czerniak'64 Pastor Czerniak is the assistant pastor ofCalvary Baptist Church and administrator for Calvary Christian School in Bellefontaine,Ohio. During his four years as school administrator,enrollment has grown from 33 to over 100 students in grades K-7.Prior to ministering in Bellefontaine,Larry and his wife,Sue(Fennell '65), worked at Bethesda Baptist Schools in Brownsburg,Indiana for 17 years and in the Cleveland Heights area for six years.Sue is employed with Citizens Federal Savings and Loan in Bellefontaine as a bookkeeper. All three oftheir children have attended Cedarville College: Paul'89N,and Dawn and Bob who are seniors. Allyson Graham'92 Allyson assisted in the founding and served as president ofthe Undergraduate Alumni Association(UAA)her senior year at Cedarville. UAA is a student organization which supports and promotes the Alumni Association events on the Cedarville College campus.She also held a part-time secretarial position in the alumni office for two years. Allyson is currently employed with Manpower in Elkhart,Indiana and anticipates moving to Mayfield,Kentucky after her marriage to Matt Benefiel'91 on October 3,1992. Allyson held the class secretarial position for three years during her Cedarville College career and ministered at a local nursing home all four years. De Maurice Smith'85 As an assistant United States attorney in the District ofColumbia, De Maurice Smith specializes in criminal prosecution.In his one year with the U.S. attorney's office,De's case load averages 285 and he finds himself in trial court approximately 3-1/2 weeks each month. Smith graduated from University of Virginia Law School in Charlottesville, Virginia in 1989 and worked for a law firm in D.C. for two years before his current appointment.His wife,Karen, received her B.A.from McIntire School ofCommerce,earned her CPA,and is an accountant with Capitol Care. st hipio 3Fall'92 Article V ofthe Cedarville College Alumni Association Constitution states that elections shall be conducted by mail ballotingforfour-year terms with at least two vacancies beingfilled in rotation every year.
