January 25 – Buffalo, New York Twenty-four alumni and friends joined Faith Linn ’83 at Daemen College for a deli buffet prior to attending the men’s varsity basketball game. The group enjoyed interacting with Don Callan, dean of the School of Health and Human Performance at Cedarville, and Ray Slagle, head men’s basketball coach at the ’Ville. The group witnessed a Cedarville victory as the Jackets handed Daemen their first American Mideast Conference home loss of the season. January 26 – Rochester, New York The Olive Garden in Rochester was the place to be as a group of 26 alumni and friends met with Faith Linn ’83 for lunch prior to attending the men’s basketball game against Roberts Wesleyan. Unfortunately, Roberts Wesleyan broke a tied game midway through the second half en route to a victory over Cedarville. January 27-28 – Nashville, Tennessee In addition to several meetings with individuals, Jeff Brock ’84 and Lew Gibbs enjoyed dinner with more than 40 alumni and friends in the Nashville area. Of special interest was the time of networking that so many alumni enjoyed. A number of Cedarville University alumni have made an exciting impact in the music industry. January 31 – Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania The largest margin of victory for the Yellow Jackets men’s basketball team this year was enjoyed by a group of 15 alumni and their families. This group from western Pennsylvania gathered at Geneva College for dinner and an exciting night of basketball. February 9 – Columbus, Ohio Brian Burns ’95, Andrew Rodriguez ’01, and Rachel Puckett Rodriguez ’00 welcomed Columbus area alumni and parents for a late lunch at P.F. February 12-13 – Central Florida While in Florida, Faith Linn ’83 had the opportunity to dine at the Macaroni Grill restaurants in Kissimmee and Altamonte Springs with 16 alumni and friends on two consecutive evenings. On February 13, the group enjoyed discovering Cedarville experiences that they had in common. While not everyone had painted the rock, had Mr. Spencer in class, or been summoned to a dean’s office, it was discovered that all alumni present had indeed enjoyed Dr. Allen Monroe for class. February 19 – Chattanooga, Tennessee The Macaroni Grill was the happening place for 15 alums to gather. Lew Gibbs and Jeff Brock hosted the evening of food and fellowship.
