We are happy to announce the release of The Faithful Reader – Essays on Biblical Themes in Literature, edited by Dr. Justin Lyons of the History and Government Department. The book contains contributions from Dr. Mark Caleb Smith, Dr. Jason Lee, Dr. Bryana Fern, Humanities Librarian Kirsten Setzkorn, and other faculty, staff, and alumni authors. The varied collection of essays expands on themes found in wellloved books from The Lord of the Rings to The Great Gatsby, and more. We invite you to read The Faithful Reader in print or online in the Digital Commons where we “share your work with the world.” The Faithful Reader is published by Cedrus Press with the assistance of Digital Commons staff. DIGITAL COMMONS PUBLISHING CORNER New Library Staff Book Published Grace Kohler joined the library staff in Digital Commons on Jan 10 as a Digital Services Assistant. In this role she will provide support for the university’s digital repository by adding items to the repository, updating information about repository items, assisting with journal publication, and contributing to other Digital Commons projects. Grace, who majored in English, is a December 2022 Cedarville University graduate who worked in the library for six semesters as a student and who also completed the library internship and independent study courses.
