Certified by the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA),
the Writing Center can assist you whether your skill level is basic or
advanced. Our consultants can help you no matter what stage of the
writing process you’re in: planning, drafting, or revising. Our trained
consultants will also help you improve your writing skills by advising
you about your strengths and weaknesses as you work through
your written text. We’ll engage you in dialogue, asking you critical
questions about your intentions behind your choices, your goals for
your own development, and your professor’s expectations.
Our center is not a proofreading service, however, so please be
prepared to discuss your work and actively participate in your session.
