The Writing Center’s peer consultants come from a variety of
disciplines and majors. These tutors have gone through a highly
selective hiring process and have completed the rigorous training
course, Writing Center Theory and Training (ENG-3550), after which
they become CRLA-certified. They greatly enjoy their work and are
committed to helping each writer improve.
