The
Christian education major
prepares students to minister
effectively and to encourage spiritual growth through meaningful
relationships, compelling biblical teaching, effective program
development, and influential leadership in a constantly changing
culture. The required selection of a ministry concentration area
and options in selection of a minor can be combined to equip for
unique specialized areas of ministry to diverse age groups and
ministry contexts (church, camp, college campus, parachurch
organizations, cross-cultural contexts, etc.). This degree also
provides a solid foundation for seminary or other related graduate
programs.
