STEWARDING THE RESOURCES
This renovation and remodel makes the most of existing facilities at a fraction of
the cost of new construction. The additional space this project creates will allow
continued growth in our engineering and science programs and serve their
needs for years to come. Since most of the space being reallocated is currently
in use, the project will unfold in multiple coordinated phases.
Phase 1: May 3–August 1, 2014
Move “Human Biology” (Anatomy and Physiology, Human Structure and
Function, and Gross Anatomy) classroom/labs to Engineering and Science
Center (ENS) 350 complex
Phase 2: September 1, 2014–December 30, 2015
2A: September 2014
Create/modify existing spaces for the Operations team to occupy when
current Service Center is reconfigured into lab space for use by the science
and engineering departments.
2B: January 2015
Renovate the current Service Center into the new science/engineering lab
facility.
2C: May 2015
Move biology department in ENS from first to second floor
2D: September 2015
Modify space in ENS first floor to be used by the engineering department.
Transition grounds barn to be used as engineering labs.
