Special Education/Early Childhood Education

Dual Licensure Option

Special education majors who wish to qualify for early childhood

education licensure (pre-K to grade 3, all subjects) may do so

by adding the following courses. A combined special education/

early childhood education student teaching

(EDUC-4950

) must

be substituted for

EDSP-4900

Student Teaching and Seminar:

Special Education. The early childhood and special education

student teaching experiences will be combined in a single

semester-long experience.
