book titled

Jesus, A Visual History

. It offers

a unique vantage point into Jesus’ story,

fleshing out the historical context of the

Gospel accounts. Its easy-reading style,

thorough research, and visual presentation

will leave you with a greater and lasting

appreciation for Jesus the Messiah. The

book features sidebars, callouts, illustrations,

charts, and color and historic black-and-

white photos.

Mendy (Jackson) Norman ’84

released a

children’s book,

The Great Rescue

, in

December 2014. The book is an allegory

of how Christ pursues, rescues, heals, and

makes us whole. It contains questions and

answers, activities, a pullout seek-and-find

page, and the plan of salvation and can be

used by families, homeschoolers,

counselors, and Sunday school teachers.

Kevin Kuczynski ’96

released his first book,

Behind the Counselor’s Door

, with HCI

Publishing in March. His book draws on his

many years of experience as a high school

counselor helping students deal with issues

including schoolwork, sex, drug and alcohol

use, and suicide as well as the joys of college

and career planning. Teenagers will empa-

thize with the trials and tribulations in the

students’ stories, but behind those doors

are also ingredients for making life a success,

including perseverance, achievement,

resiliency, affirmation, self-confidence,

and more. Kevin and his wife,

Jennifer

(Kamauf) ’96

live in Macomb Township,

Michigan, with their children, Hannah and Ty.
