Heidi (Mountz) Glick ’99
signed a contract
with Chalfont House Publishing for a co-
authored infertility devotional titled
A Walk
in The Valley
. The book includes the journeys
of six Christian authors and has a tentative
release date of April 2015.
Rachel (Menz) Rade ’00
graduated from
San Jose State University with a master’s
degree in Teaching English to Speakers of
Other Languages in May 2014. She and her
husband will move to England in summer
2015 so she can pursue a Ph.D. in applied
linguistics at the University of Nottingham.
Rebecca VanDemark ’02
published a book,
Praying through Lyme Disease,
in November
2014. The book is a 31-topic prayer devotional
for people who are living with Lyme Disease.
Joy (Daniels) Draper ‘03
was honored by
the 2015 Armed Forces Insurance Military
Spouse of the Year program as the Offutt
Air Force Base winner. The overall winner
and 2015 Armed Forces Military Spouse of
the Year will be revealed at a VIP ceremony
in Washington, D.C., on May 8.
Michael Gumprecht ’07
was named as
one of the “Top 40 Trial Lawyers Under 40”
in the state of Georgia by the National Trial
Lawyers Association. Michael is the founder
of The Gumprecht Law Firm (galawfirm.com)
in Woodstock, Georgia, where he also resides
with his wife,
Christina (Landry) ‘09,
and
their children.
Matt Blosser ‘03
began his new role as
principal of Clinton Christian School in
Goshen, Indiana, in January 2015.
Jerica Ward ‘09
is one of 20 students from
around the nation chosen as a Thomas R.
Pickering Fellow for 2014–15. She is the
first student from Texas A&M University
Bush School of Government and Public
Service to be selected for the program,
which is designed to attract outstanding
individuals interested in a foreign service
career with the U.S. Department of State.
