Marriages and Chapter Focus

Beth Morse ’89

and Daniel Kelly were

married on the beach in Norfolk, Virginia,

on July 20, 2014. Daniel is a senior computer

engineer for a government contractor. Beth

teaches for Virginia Beach City Public Schools.

They reside in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Nicole Boop ’06

and Max Hardish were

married on November 8, 2013. Max is a

building supervisor for Post Foods, and

Nicole serves as Deputy Clerk for Leroy

Township. They reside in Battle Creek,

Michigan, and are very active in the

worship and fine arts departments at

Faith Baptist Church.

Seth Ritchie ’05

and

Alyssa Adams ’08

were married on May 25, 2014, in Columbus,

Ohio. Seth is an electrical engineer for Honda

in Marysville, and Alyssa is due to graduate

in April 2015 with an M.F.A. in studio art from

the University of Cincinnati. They currently

live in Fairborn, Ohio.

The Cedarville Chapter enjoys a picnic in the park on June 17, 2014.

• Cedarville, Ohio, boasts the title“The Birthplace of Labor Day,”as the

founder of Labor Day, James H. Kyle, was born there.

• The Cedarville Opera House is listed on the National Register of

Historic Places.

• Cedarville’s original name was Milford, but in order to avoid

confusion with another Milford in Ohio, the village adopted the name

Cedarville to reflect the abundance of cedar trees in the area.
